On the year 476 Odoacer (a Germanic ruler) deposed Romulus Augustus bringing the Western Roman Empire to an end.
Economic Characteristics.
The economy was based on agriculture. Commerce was not very developed by them, because it was concentrated on Byzantium.

Social characteristics.
Their society was based on family clan and primitive characteristics.

Cultural Characteristics.
The most important artistic legacy was the creation of jewelry with precious stones and gold.
